The Grand Antique Mall, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, presents an ANSONIA 8-Day MANTLE Clock Cased in Porcelain in the PECONIC Design . Circa: 1882. All original parts. Includes pendulum and key. Hand painted bright pink case has gilded scrolls and flowers; at top center is a shell accent. Front features yellow, purple and violet flowers. Each side has 3 gilded cartouches filled with pastel flowers. On the case’s back, below the clockworks' door, is PECONIC. Cleaned and oiled. Tested and works. Strikes the hour, chimes the half. Deep dulcet sounds. Ansonia hallmark on clock face, center and in tiny writing, bottom, and on brass clockworks. NOTE: No cracks, repairs, restorations or missing pieces. Minor wear on lower left side of case that is not raised or rough (refer to photo #12). Glass cover has shallow chip seen when door is open (photo #2). Tin clock face shows wear; however, the Roman numerals are not affected. 11.50”H x 14.75”W x 5.50”D. Wt=10 lbs.
