WORKING 2013 SEIKO QXM142BRH MELODIES IN MOTION 12 TUNES ANIMATED WALL

This is a nice find of a genuine, highly collectible, hard to find, "QXM142BRH Melodies in Motion" animated wall clock that was produced about 11 years ago by "Seiko," one of the finest clock makers in history! This is an animated musical clock with a rotating crown fitted with several Swarovski Crystals. The clock is oval shaped and measures about 19 1/2" or so high and about 13" wide. It works as shown in this link courtesy of courtney's candles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=OeFEAjRaSpI  The case is trimmed in deep Cherrywood tones and there is a clear glass crystal inset over the dial; no cracks or chips or signs of wear that I can see. The sides have silvertone trim on either side of the lower dial, stars in goldtone and gold, and musicians on either side of the lower dial with a musical score between them, just above the rotating crown; really cool! The rotating crown on the lower part has a mirror behind it for viewing the angles. The dial has a white backdrop on the chapter ring and a shiny goldtone bezel surrounding it. The phrase, "Melodies in Motion" is found just below center in fancy calligraphic script. The name, "Seiko" appears in large caps within the grained silvertone, oval above center and there is a demonstration button just at the base of the clock at the bottom. The outer background is a soft blue making this clock a wonderful work of art and very easy on the eyes. The chapter ring also features large, easy to ready, shadowed fancy arabic numerals at each hour mark and matching black hands to point out the time. The back is fully intact including the battery cover; takes four AA batteries to operate. The time setting knob is located here as well. There is also a knob that allows you to change the volume and a switch with options to select, A for Christmas Melodies or B for Classic Melodies. There is also an On/Off switch located here. This clock is impressive on its own merit but really comes alive at the top of the hour with music! At that time, and as the musician animation is engaged, the clock plays one of six classics tunes in very high quality when selection B is made that include: My Heart Will Go On; Beauty and the Beast; Memory; When You Wish Upon a Star; Stardust, and The Long and Winding Road. Select A and these are the Christmas Melodies that are featured: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, I'll Be Home for Christmas; The Little Drummer Boy; The Christmas Song, and White Christmas; absolutely fascinating! The song titles are listed on the back of the clock and the classic songs are listed on the dial in calligraphic script. The clock is very impressive in any number of ways and the music is fabulous and it keeps good time too. The demonstration button on the front does play songs when the button is pressed which is a great feature if you want to show off your clock to friends or family before the top of the hour. It has a nighttime feature that automatically silences the music at night which is nice for light sleepers or when company is in town. The clock shows little or no signs of use...and it is stunning on display! It is impressive in size too measuring about 19.5" at its highest point, about 4" or so at its deepest point, and about 13" at its widest point. This is an extraordinary clock and will certainly capture the attention and imagination of anyone seeing or hearing it in your home, office, or wherever it is that you care to showcase a rare, highly collectible Seiko musical animated timepiece with a genuine legacy behind it.
