Rare Charles Hour Desk Clock with Alarm

Up for auction is a Rare Charles Hour Desk Clock with Alarm. A round clock face with Roman Numerals and ornate hands, which is surrounded by a very detailed leaf pattern bronze or brass Bezel.  The clock is mounted in a leather Faux book with gold leaf decoration. It is an 8 day spring wind. It is marked France on the face and CH Hour, France on the back.  It is in working condition. The crystal has minor scratches as does the leather, as one would expect. See photos for condition.  CH time pieces were made for Shrieve Crump and Low, as well as Tiffany. An attractive and rare piece!
