Vintage 1940 Big Ben "Loud Alarm" clock by Westclox - refurbished!

This model of the Big Ben series is known to collectors as a "style 5". The style 5 Big Ben alarm clock was manufactured by Westclox in LaSalle, Illinois, from 1939 until 1949. Production was halted in 1942 for World War II, and production resumed in 1945. The case was designed by Henry Dreyfuss. Henry had previously designed the style 3 Big Ben. The style 5 was available with the "Loud Alarm" movement or the "Chime Alarm". This clock is a Loud Alarm and it was manufactured in June of 1940. Like all of the Loud Alarm models, it has a loud ticking sound and rings a repeating alarm. 5 3/4" tall. The movement has been completely restored by the Alarm Clock Doc and it comes with a two-year warranty. It will run and alarm as it should, or we will repair it!! If you have questions, please ask!
