Wedgwood Millenium Clock - Jasperware Clock.
A Wedgwood Classic - dimensions are ; 8 3/4" high , with a base of 5 11/16" X 2 3/8" . The clock face is 2 1/2" in diameter . Executed in classic Wedgwood Blue Jasperware . This mantel clock was issued to commemorate the millenium of the year 2000 . It is truly classic in that it is the visualization of a classic pediment supported by fluted columns with capitals . The well known Wedgwood imagery of white laurel leaf decoration appears at the center of the top pediment with the year '2000' . Beneath the clock face is that famous woman of Wedgwood 'the Dancing Hours' . The clock is battery operated and works quite well .
