Vintage SCHATZ & SOHNE Germany Nautical Ship Brass Bell Clock 8 day key

Vintage Brass Schatz &Sohne 8 Day, Ships Bell Clock in a Ship's Wheel Maritime or Nautical design. Comes with key. Major chime is every 4 hours plus in between the 4-hour chime, this clock chimes every half hour with an increasing number of chimes leading up to the 4-hour chime. ("Ding" for the first half-hour, "Ding-ding" for the 2nd half hour, "Ding-ding-ding" for the hour and a half, etc. up to the 4 hour chime which has a different sound. The chimes then start over again for the next 4-hour segment.) There are signs of age on the brass, glass and face. There is patina on the brass, no attempt at cleaning has been done. There is one missing rung on top of the Ship's Wheel. I think the previous owner pulled it off intentionally to have a place to put the winding key. The clock works as it should when kept wound. Front unscrews for access to key area.
