You are bidding on a time only antique calendar clock movement that was removed from an old Waterbury long drop clock. I picked this up at a clock auction many years ago but never found a case to put it in. There are no markings except the letters "SD" and the letter "J" stamped on the front plate. There have been four bushings installed and it seems to run alright on my test stand. I am listing this as a "Parts" movement as it has not been fully tested. The movement measures 3 3/16" wide at the bottom, 2 5/16" wide at the top, and measures approximately 5" tall. The distance between the hand stem and the winding arbor is 1 5/8" on center. The distance between the plates is approximately 1 1/2." I will also be sending the pendulum and hands. The length of the pendulum is a little over 10 1/4." The pendulum bob is brass covered iron and measures 4 1/2" in diameter. The steel minute hand measures 4 7/8" long from the mounting hole to the tip. The hour hand measures 3 1/2" from the mounting hole to the tip. The red calendar hand is probably a replacement and is made from wood. It is very nicely done and measures 5 3/8" from the mounting hole to the tip. The old key is stamped WATERBURY CLOCK CO. This would make a great start to a restoration project. Good luck and happy bidding.
