Runs and Keeps Time. The condition of this Ivory/White Yachtsman, Telechron Model 7H167A, is as close to new as one can get after its 73 years from the date of issue. It is beautiful, and looks as if it had sat on a shelf and been admired for its whole lifetime. In reality, however, it had been converted into a fake "Popeye" clock -- expertly done, actually -- which we have lovingly restored into its original condition as the Ivory/White Telechron "Yachtsman," a clock which simply cannot be found online with even the most detailed of searches. The Jim Linz Reference on GE/Telechron clocks does not even have a photo of the 7H167A Ivory/White Yachtsman, but of course this listing has quite a few. Not only is this clock exceedingly rare, but it also offers a much more complex and accurate depiction of the classic Ship's Wheel: The spokes and spindles each consist of 3 pieces that screw together; unlike most other Telechron Ship's Wheel clocks which inaccurately have just the "grip" portion of each spoke.
