It has Felt on the Bottom of the Legs to Prevent it from            Scratching any Surface The Button on the Top Releases the Clock Portion -    The Clock Runs on a Watch Battery (NOT Included) I Have Always Used it as a Display Piece, and NEVER    Placed a Battery into the Clock. So the Clock is Brand New! I Imagine the Clock Works Fine - But Never Tried it! The Clock has the Main Hour/Minute Clock, a Small Inner    Second Clock, and a Small Inner Hour Clock It Whole Piece Measures Approx.                    13.5" Long X 2.5" Wide X 4.5" Tall -                                          It Weighs Almost 2 Pounds The Whole Piece is Solid Pewter,                         and the Spinning Propellers are Metal.
