Vintage Seth Thomas Westminster Ave Maria Clock Description Here is an older walnut inlaid Seth Thomas battery operated shelf clock. The clock has an option for chimes in Westminster or Ave Maria.  You can also turn off the chimes completely.  The clock does have some minor scratches and edge wear in the walnut finished wood.  I'm sure with some dark polish it will cover most of the scratches.  There is an engraved gold name plate on back of the clock;  "RMC - 20 years".  This could probably be removed. The clock is running and keeps good time.  The chimes start sounding at about 3-4 minutes before the hour.  I'm not sure how to adjust it to have them sound exactly on the hour.
