Vintage Seth Thomas Baxter E Model E029-000 Electric Clock WORKS

Item up for sale is a delightful vintage electric mantel clock made by Seth Thomas with a model name of Baxter-E and a model number of E029-000. This clock was plugged in and ran well while observed. While clock did function as intended the cord shows paint residue and evidence of splicing so this piece should be examined by a professional prior to use with the cord possibly needing replacement.
Metal trim has a brass tone and is magnetic when tested. Trim shows tarnish, patina and surface wear consistent with age and use. Clock as a whole could use a detail cleaning in the nooks and crannies. Glass shows no chips, cracks or breaks needing only a cleaning on the underside. Dial shows some yellowing consistent with age and use. Wood body shows finish and wood wear around edges and corners with no cracks or breaks. Clock measures 4-2/8" top to bottom by 8-4/8" wide across the base by 2-3/8" in depth at the base. Awesome vintage piece that comes fresh to the market.
