Vintage Sessions Electric Clock Works Perfectly Ceramic Case

Made in the late 1950's in the style of the old Ansonia ceramic clocks with German movements, this flawless USA-made clock by Sessions has the edge:  It still works!
The sturdy 9x8-inch ceramic case is hand painted under glazing, with brilliant gold leaf on all high points. The brushed silver color of the face is the backdrop for black and gold Roman numerals. The silent electric movement propels a bright red second hand. The motor was inspected out of curiosity to see if it would really be as clean as the rest of the clock:  It is! The power cord is like new and the clock needs nothing but an electric outlet to plug it into.  The ceramic case is wonderfully heavy!
Helpful hints:  Please allow the clock to warm to room temp before using out of a cold mailbox (that's the rule for any vintage electric motor). The time set knob is just like any other Sessions in that you need to use both hands; one to hold the clock and one to turn the knob.
This clock just sparkles and should last for at least another 70 years!
