VINTAGE SALEM SHIPS BELL CLOCK  SOLID BRASS 8 DAY 7 JEWEL WITH KEY  5.5"  DESCRIPTION:  solid brass, ship's bell, silent or strike - approx. 5 1/2"D, approx. 2 3/4 H - weighs approximately 4lbs 6oz - in running order.  Made in Germany - Key has been replaced.    CONDITION:  Very good vintage.  Brass needs to be cleaned and although it is in running order, I recommend that it be cleaned/serviced.  It does chime, but I have only heard it on the quarter hour.  It appears to be running accurately. PLEASE USE PICTURES AS PART OF THE DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION.   PROVENANCE:  Part of my husband's memorabilia - given to him in the 1970's.   SHIPPING:  US 48.
