The sinking of the Titanic resulted in new communication regulations and the design of the radio room clock. The Green and Red sections indicate the times in which making, and listening for, distress calls are allowed to be made and all other radio traffic must stop. If you are looking to add to your nautical-themed room or to just add some character to another room this is a beautiful piece for it! The clock is operated by a battery mechanism. To get to the mechanism unscrew the knob at the top of the clock and lift it open. This clock uses one AA battery.
