I am a non-expert in clocksbut I could describe this carefully and everything I see I will let you know in detail.First of all I am sitting here describing it and without anything going on I could hear it ticking… But that doesn’t mean it works or not but that’s what I hear while I am doing this description. What I am looking at excellent quality in very nice condition. Very sturdy wooden case. It comes with two keys and the pendulum.Look at how clean the face is. Very clean. And even the movement is very clean. It has the original back cover that is shown in the pictures. It appears to be a chime clock.I also saw the words western Germany which means Circa 1950s. So it definitely is quality. However…It is being sold by a non-expert. I don’t know anything about wind up clocks. So it is as is as found for parts or restoration only. That means it might need work but I don’t know. Please expect some maintenance.… Funny thing it’s still making ticking noises…Continuing on… I will pack this up with great care and keep everything safe and secure yet light as possible and accurate for shipping. I have the softest material to work with and the correct boxes so no worries.Make sure you look at every single picture because this item will arrive to youexactly as pictured and as described.Personally I think it’s worthy of any possible restoration it would need to make the Clock accurate… Because it’s beautiful. It’s in excellent condition visually . Other than the mechanism is untestedand as is as found for parts or restoration. Sold by a non-expert who did not test the mechanism. That’s about all I could think of regarding this clock. If you have any questions I will be glad to answer or comments… Please feel free to reach out. thanks, John
