Vintage Music Box with 8 Day "SCHMID" German Mantel Clock Brass & Glass

This vintage music box and 8 day German mantel clock is a beautiful addition to any collection. The clock is crafted with brass and glass and features an anniversary/torsion design. The clock is an 8-day clock and has a vintage feel to it. The original clock keys are attached. For some reason the keys don’t wind correctly so I can’t get it to work. The keys just keep turning with a clicking noise. It’s great for a watch/clock collector as this is a piece of history. It is in great cosmetic condition as you can see.
This is a Pretty Vintage German Clock by W.U.A. Schmid Schlenker Jr. The Clock is an 8- Day Wind. Gold Painted Vintage Hard Plastic Case with thick Real Front Glass. It has a "BEAUTIFUL" ETCHED DESIGN in the Hard Plastic Case on Both Sides. DIAL MARKED "SCHMID, JEWELED" 8 DAY WESTERN GERMANY!!! CIRCA 1940-1950. This Clock has a pullout drawer at its front center.
