This vintage Motorola Model AC3AH PLAcir mid century tube radio alarm clock presents very nicely despite its flaws. The white cabinet of the clock radio has smudges and scuffs and some small stains which I tried to capture well in photos. In aggregate, the defects are not overwhelming, but they do separate the vintage radio from top-end specimens. The AM radio takes a little time to start as the tubes warm up. As with most tube radios, placement directly impacts reception quality. It performs best in close proximity to windows. The speaker is still very loud when in range to a strong AM signal, but buzz and crackles can overpower reception when placement is not optional / the signal is poor. An experienced collector might be able to coax more performance from the radio with reconditioning. The clock is NOT working, but the twist mechanism in back used to set the time works fine.
