Vintage Linden Triple Chime Tambour Mantel Clock 1051-020 Hermle Germany Measures approx. 19"L x 9"H x 5"D Testing Results : The clock did wind completely.
The hands don't move because the pendulum is not attached. When I move the piece from side to side the time does advance forward. I suspect once the pendulum is in place the time will work as it should.
When I manually move the hands of the clock the chimes work great and the sound is loud and clear.
I hear a chime at the first quarter, half-hour, third quarter, and on the hour.
the chime control setting slides as it should. I heard a chime when switching between settings, with the exception of silent (didn't make a chime sound when on that setting). I am not sure of how many chimes you get on each setting or what each setting does so if you need more information or can provide guided instruction, I would be more than happy to provide any additional testing or answer any questions you have.
