Vintage Herschede Model 10 Mantle Clock

This is a Herschede Model 10 chiming clock. It has beveled glass in the door. The glass door closes completely but does not 'snap' shut. The case is in solid condition - but there is crazing and  alligatoring to the finish. Please review the high resolution pictures and video closely as they are part of the description. The dial is in good condition - with signs of age as shown in the pictures. The dial is 6" in diameter. The clock stands 13-1/2" tall and is 10-3/4" wide. Included is the original Herschede key and pendulum bob. One of the finials was gluded and has broken off. The break is such that there is a very good and tight fit of the finial on the clock so it should glue together nicely. The other finial was never glued and fits fine into the original hole on the clock case. The clock has been running fine for the last 3 days. The clock is not chiming in the correct sequence. Because the movement has not been serviced I am selling the clock 'as-is' for parts or repair without any guarantee as to the working condition.
