Vintage German Ridgeway Triple Chime 8 Day Cherry Finish with Burl Mantel or Shelf Clock Working This is a very nice German Ridgeway triple chime mantel clock that dates from the 1980's. It has a Franz Hermle 2-jewel movement number 1050-020. It can play three different chimes -Westminster, St. Michaels and Whittington. It measures 20 3/8" wide x 9 1/8" tall x 5" deep. The wood case has a cherry finish with burl and is in very nice condition. The dial is metal with a lever to change the chimes. It has some wear around the center winding arbor from being wound and it comes with the key. The clock runs well and all the chimes work and sound great with 4 notes at the quarter hour, 8 at the half hour, 12 at the 3/4 hour and 16 at the 12:00 hour at which time it also counts the hours.
