Toys & Hobbies / Preschool Toys & Pretend Play / Fisher-Price / 1963-Now / Little People (1963-1996)
This is a vintage Fisher-Price Music Box Teaching Clock. According to back litho it was made from 1962-1968 with the musical movement made in Japan. When wound it plays the song "Grandfather's Clock" (according to This Old Toy site, written by a gentleman named Henry C. Work in 1876) and the minute hand turns. The time is adjustable by turning the outer knob for the hour and the inner knob for the minutes. When wound it plays well and also ticks, although the cadence of the song and ticks are not always together (perhaps a spring issue?). Lithos cover the entire clocks, with wood beneath them. There is edge wear to the lithos around the bottom platform and some litho edge wear and light staining on the back (should be visible in photos). The plastic front of the clock has light scratches. Items will arrive lightly cleaned and well packaged. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Shipping is via USPS Priority or Parcel Select mail, no materials or handling fees added.
