Vintage FHS Hermle Boulle French-Style Chiming Mantle Clock w/ Matching Shelf This clock is in an overall very nice working condition. It is constructed a with thick solid wood frame and enhances with ornate brass hardware. These clocks were made in the 1970's and 80's and were made to look older with French Boulle type styling. It features faux wood grain and inlay designs . The clock chimes each hour, quarter hour, and half hr. This clock oddly has a marking in front bottom of the clock face which says, "Old Clock". The movement is a high quality Franz Hermle model 351-050. I was not able to find anything identical or any documentation to indicate the origin of the clock. There were many similar clocks made in the 1970's and 80's, sometimes using nearly identical hardware.
A matching shelf, also nicely constructed, has thick wood construction and brass hardware. Condition Issues (see photos): There may be wear, scuffing, scratching, and discoloration that is consistent with age and usage.

Front door glass has been replaced by a previous owner with poor adhesive application.

There is a small area near the top hinge of the front door that is chipped. See video

The mantle shelf has fine surface cracking.
