Vintage Commodore 35 Day Chiming Wood Wall Clock
Comes with wall clock, pendulum, and key.
Used, but in very good condition overall.
It has a hanging eye on the back, so it can be hung easily.
The door opens, closes, and latches closed as it should.
Approximate measurements: 10” Wide X 5 1/2” Thick X 26” Tall (including upper and lower crests).
PLEASE READ: It’s been fully tested. It does chime on the hour and the half an hour. It’s a nice, but simple chime. Just one chime on the half hour and then it chimes the corresponding number of hours on the top of the hour. It does not do any theme, and it does not chime on the quarter hour. The chime can also easily be silenced by moving one lever.
I WOUND IT UP (NOT OVER-WOUND) AND LEVELED IT, AND STARTED SWINGING THE PENDULUM, AND IT TICKED AS IT SHOULD, AND THE HANDS STARTED MOVING ACCORDINGLY, HOWEVER, IT WAS FOR LESS THAN A MINUTE, AND THE PENDULUM WOULD SLOWLY SETTLE AND EVENTUALLY STOP. I TRIED THIS A FEW TIMES, BUT WITH THE SAME RESULTS EACH TIME. IT COULD BE A SIMPLE FIX, BECAUSE EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE THERE, AND NOTHING IS JAMMED OR OVER-WOUND OR ANYTHING, BUT IT DOES NOT PRESENTLY FUNCTION AS IT SHOULD.
FOR THE REASONS COVERED ABOVE, I AM SELLING THIS AS IS, FOR PARTS OR REPAIR ONLY, WITH NO RETURNS.
Shipping is to the 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii are extra. Please contact me for shipping quote prior to purchase.
Please note the handling time posted in the the listing. Although we try to ship out as quickly as possible, sometimes we take the entire time window stated in the posting. This listing has an (up to) five-business-day window before it’s shipped.
I don't enjoy saying this, but due to a few bad apples almost spoiling eBay for all of us, a seller must protect themselves as well--especially on the higher-dollar items, so the clock’s information is logged, and “mapped" (fully) with detailed pictures, in the event a return is attempted with a different clock, or a part is changed or removed. Again, please accept my apologies for this statement. It's only directed toward "the 1%"
