Vintage Brass Mechanical Boston Porthole Ship Clock W/ Chimes & Key. PLEASE READ. It works well and keeps good time. The chimes sound great too. I’m not sure if it needs to be “calibrated” in regards to when it chimes though, and I assume this is usually done by moving the hands to match with the chimes, but I did not want to possibly risk damaging it by trying. Currently, it chimes twice at fifteen after, and once at forthy-five minutes after, and that’s the only chimes it makes. For the reasons above, I am selling this for parts or repair only, as is, with no returns. Approximate measurements: 5 1/2” in diameter X 3 1/2” Deep. It’s quite solid and heavy, weighting approximately 5.4 pounds. Good condition overall. Some tarnishing / pitting on some of the brass—please see pictures—but not bad, and it looks great. Shipping is to the 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii are extra. Please contact me for shipping quote prior to purchase. Shipping charge will be actual shipping charges, with no handling fees. Please note the handling time posted in the the listing. Although we try to ship out as quickly as possible, sometimes we take the entire time window stated in the posting. This listing has an (up to) three-business-day window before it’s shipped. I don't enjoy saying this, but due to a few bad apples almost spoiling eBay for all of us, a seller must protect themselves as well--especially on the higher-dollar items, so the clock’s information is logged, and “mapped" (both sides) with detailed pictures, in the event a return is made with a different clock, or a part is changed or removed. Again, please accept my apologies for this statement. It's only directed toward "the 1%". Ref: 13464
