Vintage Benlloch Pottery Spain Teapot Wall Clock Needs New Mechanism

As you can see, there are no hands on this clock. There is also no mechanism. This is because the original battery powered mechanism broke and was thrown away and then I put this piece in a box and forgot all about it until recently when it was unearthed.
So you will have to provide a replacement mechanism. These are readily available online or in craft stores but if we wait for me to do it, you will be ten years older and I will likely be deceased. So let's not wait. Buy the base, buy a mechanism and put the two together and have a cheerful, colorful, unusual analog clock for your kitchen wall.
One thing I do remember is that the original metal hands were bright white which makes sense when you see the colorway of the base but you can choose a color that suits your sense of style.
This ceramic base measures approximately 10 inches wide, 11 inches high and 1/2 inch thick. When the new mechanism is in place, and the clock is hung, it will protrude from the wall a bit as it is not very thick.

CONDITION: No chips or cracks. It does have some wide craze marks on the glazed and undercoated back side but the front is free of any such lines.
