This vintage Schatz wall clock features a unique upside down number type and a backwards display, making it a novelty addition to any man cave or home décor collection. The clock is battery-powered and operates on a quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping. The metal clock face is adorned with a coat of arms design representing Bayern Germany and the German writing says “in Bayern, geh’n die uhren anders”. approximate translation is ‘In Bavaria -the clocks are different’! (Hence- the clock runs backwards and the numbers are upside down). Still keeps time. The clock has an analog display type and is an original late 20th-century piece from Germany. Add a touch of Bayern Munich style to your home with this one-of-a-kind clock. The manual that comes with it says made in west Germany. I assume this rare clock was made in late 1970’s and stayed in its box the entire time.
