1950s era Cast Metal horse figure on solid mahogany wood base with carved apron trim Bronze or copper wash coat of paint over cast metal has some wear to the paint in some areas of the horse on his backside and saddle and some slight discoloration to the top of the clock case but Still looks good as shown We gently cleaned to restore it and wd40 oil on the self starting mechanism and it runs smoothly and fairly quiet for a vintage electric clock. The wood base is in good shape as well. Keeps great time. We tested it for 3 days straight and it kept perfect time. You just have to gently turn the self starting knob untill the mechanism engages like a clutch and moves the dial. Just make sure to turn it to spin counterclockwise or if it spins clockwise the clock will run backwards. Overall it is a nice working clock 16.50 shipping
