Black enameled cast iron.
Comes with what I believe is the original winding key. The chime is really beautiful. However, I did not pay any attention to the number of chimes per hour. You may have to set the hands accordingly.
Very nice condition. The scratches on the top represent a long period of time and they kept the winding key sitting up there.
