vintage 70s Heathkit GC-1107 Fluorescent Display Digital Alarm Clock

vintage 70s Heathkit GC-1107 Fluorescent Display Digital Alarm Clock CONDITION: Listing as FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING - It powers on.  You can set the time and it will keep time but only in 24-hour time (ie: 0000-2359 - and not AM/PM).  If there is a way to switch it to AM/PM, I don't know how or it's not working.  I tried setting an alarm but nothing seems to happen.  Again, I don't know if I'm doing it right or if it's not working properly.  There is also a crack in the plastic face cover (as pictured). Measures approx 7" x 5" x 3" Heathkit is the brand name of kits and other electronic products produced and marketed by the Heath Company . Heathkit made quality electronics that were sold in kit form to be assembled by enthusiasts at home. Heathkit manufactured electronic kits from 1947 until 1992.
