I recently moved an elderly man into an assisted living facility. Sadly he has no family and offered me a trade. He wanted me to take all his household belongings provided I visit him a few times a month. He is such a great guy I would have stopped by without the trade.
This clock was a fixture in his home. I would have kept it, if not for the grandfather clock a client gave me a couple years ago. This clock works as you can see in the video I took. There is a chip on the right front face of the clock. I wish I had the piece of wood that chipped off, but I don’t. If your good with wood, you can touch it up and make it look near perfect. I am personally very good with repairs, but I just don’t have the time to do it. There is a very slight rub on the top front right corner. It is rather hard to see. I do not see anything other than those two flaws.
Please note this is a very heavy clock. It weighs 25 pounds. I am not sure if the pictures I take do this justice, but this is a large clock. The outer frame is 24” x 24. The depth is 4 inches. This should be anchored in the wall. It had been previously. This clock is available for local pick up in Bethel, CT or I can ship it to you. Lately it seems that every job I do, my clients have been providing me with items they either no longer need, want or have room for. My reputation as a mover has always been very good, but my eBay store reputation is growing rather quickly. I literally get calls from clients asking me if I would be interested in selling things for them. I am so grateful to be offered these belongings. I get a little bit of everything.
