Vintage 1980s Sharp CT-660E Elsi Quartz Talking Alarm Clock W/Speech Synthesizer From Japan I am the original owner of this item so please let me know if there are any questions about this clock. This is the ORIGINAL version of the Elsi Talking Time Clock and was the first talking clock to synthesize an actual human voice! It is in good used condition with a bit of wear from use (primarily the wear to the silver plating next to the volume control on the right side of the clock as seen in the photos). All functions work  perfectly! Besides the alarm, there is a timer and stopwatch function as well and the clock can be set to announce the hour and half hour if desired. I can’t find the instruction manual but the controls are very simple and are printed on the inside of the stand. All of our items come from a clean, smoke free home.
