Vintage 1948-1952 Gibraltar Mfg Co. Silver Saddled Horse Electric

Vintage 1948-1952 Saddled Horse Western styled self-starting electric clock by Gibraltar Manufacturing Company, Jersey City, New Jersey. Stamped Jersey City4. Made in U.S.A. In good working condition. Smooth movement red second hand on a 3-1/2" wide face with golden numbers and minute markers under glass. Keeps accurate time. Clock metal back is missing a nut, but fits tight. Cowboy hat, gun, boots and rope motif are shown at the base. Electric rotor unmarked, cleaned and oiled. It is either the self-starting synchronous patent 1941 or 1951 by Gibraltar. Non-polarized plugged cord is in good shape, about 5ft. long. Horse has metal bead reins showing some rust. Left tip of ear is chipped off, as shown. Minor scratches on finish with age spots. Wooden base in good shape with slight splintering under front right horse hoof. Base is stamped underneath No. 803.
