This is a nice mantel clock by Bulova with Japan workings. It is rather heavy. Runs on two D batteries. It runs and has a four note chime on the quarter hour, very pleasant sounds.
There is a gold plaque on the front that show it was a gift in 1961. I assume then it was made in 1961.
