This is a beautiful clock with the Pfaltzgraff stoneware face and base/bottom, glass cloche over the top. Tested, works, chimes, sounds pretty. MISSING BATTERY DOOR COVER, HOWEVER, THE BATTERIES ARE VERY SNUG AND STAY IN VEEY TIGHTLY, Takes 3 "AA" BATTERIES. IN EXCELLENT CONDTION.
