Strombecker Wood Dollhouse Furniture, 7pc Living Room Set, 1930s, 1:16 Scale
This set belonged to my mother in the 1930s and was handed down to me in the 1960s. It was well loved and gently played with by us both. It has been stored in my closet; a smoke free, temperature controlled home for the last 50 years. The sofa, chairs, and foot stool are a green flocking covering. The grandfather clock and magazine stand are made of walnut. The magazine stand is stamped Strombecker and it does have a broken leg but stands level without it. The gold detailing on the grandfather clock is faded or rubbed off from handling. Considering the age, overall, the set is in good condition showing signs of wear from play and storage.
