This antique Seth Thomas Plymouth Triple Decker Weight Clock is a stunning piece that will add elegance to any room. The clock features a rectangular shape with a wooden frame and brass accents. It has a wind-up mechanism with an 8-day movement and a pendulum/moving parts feature.
The clock chimes every half-hour and hourly, creating a beautiful sound that will transport you back to the Victorian era. This mantle clock is signed by Seth Thomas and is an original piece from the late 1800s. It has been carefully maintained and is in excellent working condition.
This clock is in Good working and cosmetic condition.
The clock was just serviced and works well.
The clock keeps good time and strikes a gong on the half hour and counts the hours on the hour.
The clock has an 8 day movement.
The clock is weight driven.
The clock appears to have its original weights.
The string has been replaced.
The clock appears to have its original painted metal dial.
The clocknis in Good cosmetic condition.
I do not see any cracks, breaks or repairs in the wood of the clock.
The clock does show minor surface scratches and scuffs in the wood from use over the years (please see pictures).
The clock also appears to have its original reverse paintin on the front glass panels.
The reverse painting does show wear too from over the years.
The clock only has 1 gear cover.
The clock has its original paper label attached to the inside of the clock.
