Collectibles / Decorative Collectibles / Clocks / Desk, Mantel & Shelf Clocks
This is Seth Thomas’ “Nashville” model from their City series of clocks. It’s a seldom seen model and this one is in nice original condition. It retains the original matching chrome “ST” pendulum, dial bezel, and bell. The clock also features an alarm that is wound through a grommet in the wooden dial surround. It was wound and ran while it was being listed and continued to run as it was being prepped for shipping. The last service is unknown and it wasn’t tested for run duration or accuracy so it’s being sold for restoration. When the hands were cycled the clock chimed on its bell. The alarm was untested, but the spring is good so it will likely sound if set. The only issue that I see is some paint loss on the dial. The finish is early and probably original and the glass is old and wavy with a few bubbles. There is a jewelers label on the rear of the clock probably from New York. It’s an all around nice clock in good original antique condition, and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!
