Seth Thomas Antique Schoolhouse Clock not seen too often. When I purchased it, it was running and still seems to be now. I'm listing it as for parts or restoration because I'm not sure if everything is how it should be because I've never had one of these. When I checked the winders they were either completely turned or they're frozen, I'm going to let the clock keep running and try the winders again to see if the running of the clock has loosened them up and then I'll update the description. *Update *... After letting the clock run for a few days, and run itself out, I was able to wind the clock up, they are tight to wind and they don't wind too much, but they are not frozen, just tight. The clock runs a minute or two fast so I'll keep adjusting the speed to see if that stops it from running a minute or two fast. After winding, you may have to move the clock to get it going, just a light tap on the face does the trick. It's a loud ticker, but does remind me of the clocks we had at my Catholic school in the 60s, I was always wondering what the nuns were doing on chairs every few days in front of the clocks. It runs for a few days then needs winding again.
