Seiko Quartz Clock Lucite Skeleton Mantle Desk Japan Vintage Brass Clear.
Simple and elegant clock made in Japan in the 1980's. Keeps very accurate time.
Defects:
1. The second hand is disconnected and trapped between the lucite slabs. This should be a simple fix requiring removing the four bolts and placing back on the spindle. I am reluctant to do this myself as I don't want to risk damaging the brass or lucite.
2. Upper corners have been rounded to remove chips.
3. Upper middle edge of back side has had chip smoothed.
4. There is a slight impact mark by the lower left bolt.
5. Missing adjustment knob. Easily adjusts with needle nose pliers or just replace.
Clock face and back are in excellent condition.
Smooth and polished surface with no remarkable scuffs or scratches .
Exceptionally quiet movement makes it acceptable for the bedroom. Gentle tic tic tic will not keep you up at night.
