E Schmeckenbecher Double Door W Germany cuckoo clock musical Love Story possibly a 30 Hr Regula | repair/parts. Rare hard to find!
I was told by a cuckoo clock collector that this clock is post world war ll, marked W. Germany on the clock dial, with two doors; one for a man and other for the bird. The music box looks to be the older type, 19 tooth comb with pins welded to the barrel rather than stamped. It would play Love Story which is an extremely hard one to find. I have not figured out what is wrong with it, simply selling as parts or repair.
Quality report, the birds hook that attaches to the door has come unhooked. This is dust and dirt present so it will need to be cleaned and serviced by a professional. Some chipping and rough parts on the wood and paint/stain loss throughout as highlighted in the many photos. View all photos before bidding, selling as is.
