The millimeter (mm) is the overall total shaft length
Do not measures with a ruler that has a "lip" you may be short. See picture.
6168 -12mm     For dials up to 1/16" thick

5168S -18mm   For dials up to 5/16" thick

Note: the "S "  indicates a continuous sweep movement. No "S" is a step movement "tick".
All will work for Sangtai 6168 or Sangtai 6168S as a replacement. You just need the correct shaft size. Minute and, Hour, Hand information This 12 hour quartz clock movement comes with black metal hands which will fit this movement. Minute hand measures 2-3/4 inch from the center of the mounting hole.

Hour hand measures 2 inch from center of mounting hole to tip
