This Beautiful Jetson Style Atomic MOTOROLA 56CS AM clock radio has been recapped, cleaned, and added with an MP3 input.  The AM broadcast reception and radio sound is excellent.  With the MP3 ready input you can play music or other audio through any Bluetooth receiver or directly through a phone or MP3 player.   There is also a appliance timer AC plug in the back that works off the 60 minute clock alarm function dial in the front.  Overall this is an amazing restoration with the chocolate color body in flawless perfect condition along with MOTOROLA emblem on front.  It is a stunning museum like radio capturing the essence of the Eames era Atomic age!!

    The "1956 MOTOROLA 56CS" Tube Radio is an AC operated Super-Heterodyne AM broadcast designed tube radio with 5 tested vacuum tubes:

    12BE6, 12BA6, 12AV6, 50C5, 35W4.

    Mid-Century modern plastic body - looks nearly like chocolate mahogany Bakelite.

    Permanent Magnet Dynamic (PDyn) Loudspeaker (moving coil) / Ø 4 inch

    Telechron clock that has been cleaned with mechanism lubricated.

    All the electrolytic filter and paper capacitors were replaced and resistors measured to specification.

    Power cord is original and clean.

    Knobs are all original and perfectly clean in great functional shape.
