They are not completely silent. They are not loud but you can expect electric clock motor noises, and occasional clicking sounds from the plastic parts of the animation. If some of these clocks look new, please note they are not new. These are used vintage items which will have various wear or marks or things like that. RESTORED works properly! *Video clip was taken in a room FULL of various clocks so any ticking noises etc are most likely from other clocks not the one listed. This clock does not make ticking noises. These clocks are relatively silent and do not make any tick tock noises. * Remember if you buy one of these that has not been restored eventually it will stop working.  Some of the gears in these motors were made of a type of plastic that deteriorates over time due to age and heat etc., whether or not the clock was used or stored in a box the plastic will still deteriorate.

Motor has been rebuilt and has had main drive gear replaced for reliability purposes. White plastics have been whitened not painted! In order to retain a vintage look but without the unattractive yellowing that is sometimes seen with the eyes/hands and other parts of these old clocks. Original vintage electric jeweled WITH THE LOGO on the clock face!

This is one original california clock company jeweled cat klock. This has been restored and the motor has been fixed recently so this should work for a long time.
This is an old item and the electric cord still looks good and it has been thoroughly cleaned. *We clean and disinfect all of our vintage restored items inside and out so that you don’t have to!
Sold AS-IS. This clock was fixed at a clock repair shop and has been running and keeping accurate time for several weeks now but since it is a vintage item it has no warranties and it therefore is sold AS-IS with no returns or refunds unless the item is grossly misrepresented.
