RARE Vintage Alarm Clock PETER Germany Light Up Picture Mantel Clock Works!.
This is an incredible thing. It is a Peter alarm clock mounted in a glass case. There are lightbulbs inside, and when lit the light shines through hundreds of little holes in the paper insert, creating the lit scene. There’s a line of dots down the volcano on the right, making this the best clock ever.
Condition: the glass top and sides are painted on the interior, and there is paint loss. The metal is discolored all over. It lights beautifully, but the plug is scary, and I suggest rewiring. You are buying this as is.
The alarm clock works great, and wound, it seemed to last over 24hrs, with a satisfying tick tock. The alarm works- SUPER LOUD.
I have not opened the clock to see the interior bulbs or condition.
