Rare French Bronze Annular Clock

Very rare antique Annular Clock. Made in France circa 1850. In excellent condition. Beautiful 19th century French Brass Annular Rotary Urn Clock w/Cupid on top. Nicely carved stands surrounding the two revolving porcelain dial time tracts. It has a minute and an hour time tract. The pointer indicates the time on the circular porcelain dials, and just below the pointer is the platform escapement of the eight day brass movement. It has two beautiful hand painted porcelain plaques of a Victorian lady. The base is brass also in a hexagonal shape. To wind turn cupid around and the spot to wind is in the top of the clock. Missing the key. Clock measures approx. 18-1/2" tall x 8-1/2" wide at the base. The clock is very heavy. Free local pickup available.
