Rare Antique French Brass Repousse Wall Clock Unusual Farcot Movement.
Not working and sold for parts or repair. Several of the screw holes in the wood (both around the dial frame and brass backplate) are not gripping, so I have removed the hands for safety. You may need a new tapered pin to reattach. I have seen a few examples of similar clocks by Farcot with Pendulette or tic tac style movements which seems much simpler than this one. There is a large metal ring that attaches to the suspension spring at the top and the crutch at the bottom and then the pendulum attaches to that ring as well (I’m not an expert but that’s what it looks like to me). Measures about 19 3/4” x 17 1/2”. Missing the enamel number 6. Has a few dings and shows other wear and soiling. A complete restoration project.
