New Quartz Battery Clock Movement  Great for replacing Older Quarts or Mechanical Movements BEFORE YOU ORDER THIS MOVEMENT, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION SO YOU ORDER THE CORRECT MOVEMENT. This movement (like most) will only swing a pendulum weighing 30 grams and no longer than 16 inches. In other words a small light weight one, NOT one for a Grandfather or Grandmother clock. Also the shaft for the hands will fit on a face no thicker than 3/8 of an inch or less. Please look to see if the hand shaft will work before you order this movement. NEW quad chime quartz clock movement conversion kit to be used to replace the Hermle 2214 or 2215 clock movement, The Howard Miller 354471 and the Howard Miller 354472 with a 15 mm (1/2") shaft length. The threaded rod length is 1/4 inch long. Choice of 3 melodies (4) options: (1)  Full 4/4 Westminster (this allows the chiming for every 15 minutes, (2) Westminster hour only,  (3) Ava Maria or (4)  Bim-Bam and hourly strike only. There are 100's of different hands available for this movement (provided by others) PLEASE NOTE - This movement comes with a short hand shaft and will not fit all clocks.  overall length of shaft is 5/8 inch long with only a 1/4 inch of thread to secure the movement to your clocks face. See pictures .  Please measure your existing movements hand shaft to make sure this movement will fit. This movement measures  4 5/8 wide  by 4 1/2 tall (not including the pendulum hanger. Its only about 1/8 wider than the Hermle movements but they are taller PLEASE measure the hand shaft length of your existing movement from the front of the clock movement out to the tip of the shaft (this requires removing the movement from the case).  If the overall length is 1/2" or less, this will work for you. THIS MOVEMENT IS AUTOMATICALLY SHIPPED WITH 3 7/8"" LENGTH SERPENTINE STYLE HANDS (SHOWN IN THE FIRST PHOTO WITH THE MOVEMENT) HAND LENGTH IS MEASURED FROM THE CENTER OF THE HOLE TO THE TIP OF THE MINUTE HAND.  At this time, these are the only hands we offer with this movement. However if you are replacing a movement with press on hands and not "I" shaft hands, your old hands may fit.  There are hundreds of hand styles and sizes available on the internet, just make sure you are looking at press fit hands for this movement.
