Pre-WWII SETH THOMAS Maritime Ships Brass Deck Ward Room Key Wind Clock measuring 7" in diameter with a beautiful untouched patina as shown in our photos. The roman numeral face shows the wear from years of winding with a key. The second hand functions are intended and the clock keeps excellent time. Most of the examples we have found on the internet has the second indicator affixed just below the 12 while this older face has it placed just above the 6. The black hands are bent somewhat and I believe they are original. The brass and glass cover snap smartly into place and they also appear to be original as well. This wonderful old Seth Thomas ships clock looks like you just took it off the bulkhead in the captains quarters. When we found this remarkable old clock it didn't have a key but we were able to locate one that works just fine and is included with the clock when we ship it to you. As always at Fall Creek Collection, please feel free to contact us with any other question or concern...thanks
