For sale is a set of TWO (2) vintage postcards of Piccadilly Circus in London England. The postcards show two different views of Piccadilly Circus and appear to be from the 1960's. Both postcards are standard size (approx. 5.5 x 3.3 inches) and are in good used condition with very minimal corner and edge wear. Please see photos to judge overall condition. I have many other postcards available. Please visit my store to see all available postcards. Piccadilly Circus is a road junction and public space of London's West End in the City of Westminster. It was built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with Piccadilly. In this context, a circus, from the Latin word meaning "circle", is a round open space at a street junction. The Circus now connects Piccadilly, Regent Street, Shaftesbury Avenue, the Haymarket, Coventry Street (onwards to Leicester Square) and Glasshouse Street. It is close to major shopping and entertainment areas in the West End. 1-3 Postcards ship using Ebay standard envelope with tracking.
