Old Antique Ingraham Oak Gingerbread Parlor Clock Puck 1890 Fully

Antique Ingraham Oak Gingerbread Parlor Clock, 8 day, half hour strike, made about 1890, in excellent working condition, named Puck. Solid oak cabinet has no damage or repairs, and is in excellent condition, with a nicely aged finish. It features ornate incised designs and applied decorations. This clock also has an unusual 'portrait' pendulum, featuring a Victorian lady (note the picture is a reproduction replacement, the original was badly damaged). Glass is original with a couple of small worn spots. Solid brass original dial pan polished and finished. Paper time track (numbers) is a replacement. Clock movement has just been overhauled (movement was completely dismantled, worn bushings, new hammer leather, click springs, spring wire, springs, and any other repairs done as needed). Clock movement has been serviced (serviced means cleaned, lubricated, and balanced), using only synthetic lubricants. Synthetic lubricants are superior to standard petrochemical 'oils'. They have better lubricating qualities, are longer lasting and do not discolor, smell or become gummy with age, requiring less frequent maintenance. Clock runs well and strikes on the hour and half hour on a cathedral gong (note the strike train is a little noisy). Key is an antique replacement. Dimensions: 24 inches high, 16 inches wide, 5 inches deep. Clock may require minor adjustment after shipping.  Clock is balanced for a level surface and should be placed on a level surface to run correctly. The clock will come with a set of instructions that will tell you how to set up and maintain it.  I am also available anytime after the sale for any questions that arise.
